‘Expedition Dinosaur’ is a small County Durham based independent company, that has a passion about all things historical and prehistorical. We offer a completely unique and customised mobile palaeontology exhibition that takes you on a journey through the golden age of dinosaur discoveries from the 19th Century and up to the present day.
We also deliver a range of curriculum-based workshops for schools, as well as specialised workshops for community organisations. Each workshop is action-packed, interactive and most importantly, fun! We aim to inspire young minds and encourage their involvement in the natural world and the sciences.
That’s not all! We also attend carnivals, castles, fetes and other fun days with our portable dinosaur exhibition.
This unique, interactive exhibition brings prehistoric monsters, dinosaurs and fossils to life like never before in a fun and interactive way.
By combining science and history, the exhibition presents fossil discoveries from the 19th century American Wild West, to the depths of our ancient oceans! Uncover rare discoveries that will amaze and inspire you.
The exhibit includes impressive life sized dinosaur skulls, real fossils, modern day fossil CT scans, original casts, highly detailed paleoart and fun activities throughout.
The exhibition seeks to inspire curiosity in children and adults alike, fostering an interest in palaeontology, history and the natural sciences.
This exhibition has used recyclable and reusable materials throughout.
